Community Singing Workshops for KS2 Children

About the Workshop
Following the success of the inaugural workshops in 2023, Find Your Voice returns this Easter holiday.
The nationally renowned music department at St Mary-le-Tower Ipswich is proud to host a fun-filled 3 days of singing, music games and much more.
Over the course of the workshop, the children will form a choir and together, participate in music games, learn songs and have the opportunity to improve their singing as they explore the workshop's theme. The music will take them around the world exploring different cultures, languages and styles. The workshop includes learning to play the Djembe - a West African drum - to accompany their singing.
Each day includes 4 music sessions lasting around 45 minutes: 2 in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon. Breaks, lunch, and other activities will be fitted around these sessions.
The three days will finish with a performance by the children to friends and family on Wednesday 10th April 2024 at 2:15pm in St Mary-le-Tower Church. Entry is free.
All interested KS2 children are welcome to join us and should register by clicking the link above. Please be assured that no prior experience of singing or music is required.
